An Australian man was arrested in the outer south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne earlier this week after dressing in full tactical gear and ordering a staff member to tell him “where all the cats were”.
Identified as Tony Wittmann, a 44-year-old father of 3 who had served in the Australian Army before a dishonorable discharge for “failing to render efficient service”. The newest charges he’s facing after this incident include kidnapping, false imprisonment, and armed robbery.
Just after 10:30 PM on Monday Wittmann stormed the animal shelter in full tactical gear while aiming a fully loaded assault rifle at a young female worker. He then tied her up at gunpoint and demanded she told him where they keep the cats. It seems Wittmann was looking for his OWN cat.
